Leap and Blackhawk Claims Service Partner to Reduce Specialty Medication Costs and Improve Patient Access

Image

We're excited to announce our strategic partnership with Blackhawk Claims Service, a leading third-party administrator (TPA) serving self-funded health plans nationwide. Through this collaboration, Blackhawk will offer Leap’s advanced infusion therapy solutions to its members, providing an accessible and lower-cost alternative that improves outcomes and reduces costs.

With a shared focus on transparency, efficiency, and member-centric service, our two companies are working together to transform the infusion care experience. Leap’s home-based clinical model brings high-acuity infusion therapies into patients’ homes—without compromising on safety, clinical oversight, or service quality.

“At Blackhawk, our mission has always been to ensure our clients receive the best possible value and care,” said Mark Keck, CEO at Blackhawk Claims Service. “Integrating Leap's in-home infusion offering is a natural extension of our commitment to innovation, cost containment, and service excellence.”

This new service offering allows Blackhawk clients to redirect eligible specialty medication therapies from hospitals and infusion centers to the home or an alternate facility, where patients benefit from greater convenience, continuity of care, and reduced out-of-pocket costs. Leap’s program includes comprehensive nurse support, real-time reporting, and proactive coordination with prescribers and benefit managers.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Blackhawk Claims Service,” said Rob LaHayne, CEO of Leap." Their commitment to flexible, personalized solutions aligns perfectly with our vision of bringing high-quality clinical care directly into people’s homes.”

The partnership is now active and available to eligible members through participating self-funded employer groups and benefit plans supported by Blackhawk Claims Service.
